Eaglereach is a nature-based resort with over 640 acres (259ha)  of natural adventure land featuring an amazing variety of fauna and flora. Native animals which have made Eaglereach their home include; Kangaroos, Wallaroos, Wallabies, Echidnas, Goannas and that’s before you look skyward and marvel at King Parrots, Eastern and Crimson Rosellas, Red-Browed Firetails, Blue Wrens, Bush Doves and our namesake, the majestic Wedge tailed Eagle.
 
Eaglereach comprises a collection of custom built family and spa lodges as well as  superior resort rooms. Each is sole use and complete with every luxury to make your stay a genuine pleasure.  Inclusions vary from pool tables to sauna rooms.  These range in size and location to suit every budget. From resort rooms to a six -bedroom corporate chalet.  Expansive verandahs provide spectacular views across the Hunter region either to the Barrington Tops, one of Australia's largest and awe-inspiring National Parks, or to the Pacific Ocean.
 
Guests can discover Eaglereach in a variety of ways. On foot, in kayak, mountain bikes or  self-drive Discovery Buggies.  Every day can be an adventure from the accessible private rainforest, to the lookout at the Mount George Trig Station. A full security entry ensures total privacy and no day-trippers.
 
The resort’s facilities include swimming pool, tennis court, health & fitness centre 15 station exersite, childrens play centre, a games room and a series of dams for yabbying.   Goonarook Lagoon is another superb location for swimming, kayaking and a challenge to those who care to throw out a line for sport fishing. All non motorised equipment and activities are complementary as is the internet kiosk and DVD library. A comprehensive activity program is available to suit every need and level of activity from guided rainforest walks to massages in our health & fitness centre.
 
Treehops restaurant awarded Best Resort Restaurant in the Hunter region 2008 and finalist in 2009   is located on site and features fresh local produce. Its evening menu boasts a Modern Australian style teamed with traditional favourites under the supervision of Sir Richard Branson’s former chef at Necker Island. Hot breakfast is included in the tariff. Casual snacks are also served on the Observatory Deck which attracts a prolific range of native animals and bird life that can be viewed up close by guests at breakfast time and “ Happy Hour”.
 
The surrounding area offers some wonderful local attractions for self-drive or guided tours. These include the local Hunter vineyards, historical villages such as Morpeth, Greaford for vineyards, Port Stephens for dolphin cruises and the Barrington Tops National Park.
